Chimichurri Style Sauce

Chimi with lime and red onions

Don’t like vinegar? You are not alone. Love lime based sauces? How about some red onion to spice it and tang your sauce a bit more? Then this is your go to for Chimichurri Style Sauce for grilled meats and seafood. Lots of beautiful fresh Parsley, just like the original, but in a fruity lime and olive oil base. Just smother that steak and enjoy!

A real easy to make sauce especially for grilled meats and fish. Nice herb mixture of Parsley, Oregano, and Thyme

Add a Bay leaf to really pop that sauce as it marinates overnight.



How to make a Chimichurri Sauce

  1. Prepare all the fresh ingredients!

    • Chop the Parsley - but not too fine.
    • Mince the onion - fine. 
    • Mince the Garlic
    • De-seed and finely chop the red chilis
  2. Add all dry ingredients to a bowl. 

    Add Olive Oil and Lime and mix all together.

    Let sit for at least an hour preferably overnight

    Remove Bay leaf and enjoy!
