A really easy Smoked Salmon Appetizer Recipe which can be served many different ways.

Having a little party? Or maybe a big one? This smoked salmon appetizer recipe goes along ways to making everybody happy. You can serve it on toasted baguettes, crostinis, or crackers. You can serve it on cucumber slices (great idea for the gluten free!) You can add tomatoes, sliced red onions, or capers on top. Great as a dip with crudités like celery and carrot sticks.

The best thing about it could be the leftovers though. The spread is perfect for morning bagels. It was a bit of a fight in my family, last time I made it. If you do not have any bagels in house, a piece of toasted bread will do just fine! The leftovers didn’t last long. I might just make it next time for my self and the family for morning bagels. Just too good to share maybe?

  1. You are gonna love this
    1. Add the smoked salmon, cream cheese, sour cream and mayonnaise to a food processor. Give it a couple of whirls to start the blend.
    2. Add the chives, dill, lemon juice,  salt and pepper.
    3. Blend until the dip is the consistency of your choice. It is nice to have little pieces of smoked salmon visible.
    4. Transfer the dip to a serving bowl.  Top with additional fresh dill.
