We always have canned Tuna and Tortillas in our house. One of my go to meals when I need something good, but fast and easy to make, is Tuna Salad. You can eat it so many different ways; As a cold sandwich, or as a tuna melt cooked in the oven with melted cheese, or on a tortilla quickly microwaved.
And each time you make it, the actual ingredients depends really on what I have on hand. You got some salsa in the fridge that needs to be consumed? There you go! You got an Avocado? There you go! Gouda Cheese, Chedder Cheese, Monterey Jack? There you go!
But what you definitely do need is Mayonnaise, Onions, and Cornichons (small pickles). If you got Capers, even better!

How to make Tuna Salad, Tuna Melts, or Tuna Tortilla Wraps
Take a can of tuna and drain it and place it in a bowl. I use a sieve but you can also just squeeze the tuna in your hands over a sink and add to a bowl. It doesn't have to completely dried out. What is important is that there no excess oil or water.
Chop up the onions and cornichons and add them to the tuna.
Add the capers.
Add the mayonnaise, salt and pepper and mix well.
